Director Anatoly Efros (1925-1987) was born in Kharkov. He studied in GITIS, worked in the Ryazan Regional Drama Theatre, the Central Children's Theater, the Moscow State Theatre named after Lenin's Komsomol, the Taganka Moscow State Drama and Comedy Theatre, and other theatres. Anatoly Efros was awarded the title of Honored Art Worker of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic, and won awards at international festivals in Belgrade and Prague.
The collection online presents photos, playbills, programmes, sketches of costumes and scenery. Arranged by premiere dates, to an extent, the items show transformations of Director Anatoly Efros's works.
