The collection is based on materials that belonged to the Meyerhold State Theatre's museum. Today there are more than 20 thousand various items: books and journals from the Meyerhold State Theatre's library, clippings, playbills and programs, advertising materials, minutes, manuscripts, letters, scores, architectural drafts, photos and negatives, engravings and lithographs, sketches of scenery and costumes, scale models, dolls, and other items. Our museum holds materials hand-written by Vsevolod Meyerhold, Dmitry Shostakovich, Vladimir Mayakovsky, Zinaida Raikh.
