Andrey Charin was a theatre actor of the early 20th century. Born in 1875, he worked at the Russian Drama Korsh Theatre (1902–1917). He is known for his role of Khlestakov in Nikolai Gogol's comedy "The Government Inspector." The Bakhrushin Theatre Museum's online collection features letters from Andrey Charin, a photo postcard depicting the actor as Khlestakov, and other materials.
